El sistema FCS (Formula Checkweigh System) permite un control total de la gestión y el pesaje (manual) de los lotes de tinta.
Consta de una balanza de 15 kilos / 33 libras (35 kilos / 77 libras opcional) y un ordenador con teclado y monitor. El ordenador de control se sitúa junto a la balanza electrónica o puede montarse en la parte posterior del monitor con un soporte especial. El sistema adapta la fórmula deseada al tamaño de lote deseado, calcula el peso individual de cada componente de la fórmula y guía al operador paso a paso en un proceso de pesaje controlado. Existe, además, la posibilidad de incorporar un paquete para códigos de barras que permite imprimir una etiqueta para cada lote que se pesa y así facilitar la identificación.
